NEW ORLEANS, La. — The Loras College women's track and field team climbed into the top 10 of the Week 4 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Rating Index, landing at No. 9 in NCAA Division III.

The Duhawks earned 123.98 points, with 93.72 of those coming from standout performances by Caitlyn Cox, Emma Seipel and Sara Hoskins, who each hold top 10 national marks. Cox is ranked fourth in the hammer throw with a distance of 56.37 meters. Seipel sits third in the long jump at 6.05 meters and fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.69 seconds. Hoskins is 10th in the high jump with a mark of 1.66 meters.

Up next: Loras will send athletes to the Drake Relays, held Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, April 26. Additional athletes will compete at the Drake Alternative hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on Thursday, April 24, and the Kip Janvrin Open hosted by Simpson College, running Thursday, April 24 through Friday, April 25.
