WAVERLY, Iowa - The Loras College women's tennis team came up short in their first road match of the season, falling to Wartburg College, 5-2, on Wednesday night.
At No. 3 doubles, the team of
Alexis Tatum and
Brooke Burger won their match, 6-4, for the lone Loras (2-2 Overall, 0-2 American Rivers Conference) win in doubles.
Mary Breitbach continued her success at the No. 1 singles position, defeating Morgan Kathman, 6-3, 6-1.
Ellie Kalina delivered the second point for Loras, winning her No. 2 singles match, 5-2, 7-5.
Up Next: The Duhawks will return home on Sept. 16 to host Luther College. Match time is scheduled for 4 PM from Tucker Tennis Courts.
