NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Loras College women's volleyball team was swept by North Central College in a nonconference matchup on Friday night inside Gregory Arena.
The Purple and Gold came up short in all three sets, falling 25-18 in set one, 25-20 in set two, and 25-23 in set three.
Autumn Finch led the way for the Duhawks with nine kills, four service aces and two blocks.
Elaina Schroeder and
Cat Meyer added in eight kills apiece, while
Alyssa Daughenbaugh handed out 17 assists on the night. As a team, Loras (4-8) hit .175, finishing with 34 kills and 16 errors in 103 attempts compared to North Central (10-2, 1-0 CCIW) who hit .278, which featured 53 kills and 18 errors in 126 attempts.
