DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College women's tennis team celebrated senior day with a 7-0 win over Buena Vista University Saturday morning.

In doubles, Ellie Kalina and Saydie Roling set the tone for what would be another clean sweep in doubles, defeating Talyor Fritz and Olivia Gomez, 6-0. Alexis Tatum and Brooke Burger defeated Abbey Meseck and Chalie Rayford, 6-0 at No. 3 doubles. Then it was the duo of Mary Breitbach and Megan Covelli taking down Hannah Higgins and Macy Weller, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles to blank the Beavers in doubles.

Leading 1-0, Breitbach continued her success with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles, while Burger defeated Rayford at No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-2 for the second singles point for Loras. Then it was Lauren Keiper getting a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4, while Kalina was victorious at No. 2, 6-2, 6-1. Tatum was a winner over Fritz at No. 3, 6-1, 6-3 while Zara Stoltzfus completed the singles sweep with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles.

Up Next: Loras will travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to take on Coe College on Oct. 1. Match time is scheduled for 4 PM.
