WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – The Loras College men's golf team concluded its spring season with an eighth-place finish at the American Rivers Conference Championship, held at Glen Oaks Country Club.

On Day one, Nicholas Sullivan paced the Duhawks with a four-over round of 75. Silas Schultz followed with a +7 round of 78, while Alex Link and Wyatt Herting shot rounds 82 (+11) on day one. Will Coohey closed the opening round for the Duhawks with a +12 round of 83.

It was Schults who led Loras on moving day, firing a +6 round of 77. Sullivan followed with an 80 (+9), while Coohey shot a 10-over round of 81. Both Link and Hertig tied for the second straight day, shooting rounds of 85 (+14).

The final round saw Sullivan shoot his best round of the tournament. The freshman shot a three-over round of 74, which was good enough to place him T11 for the tournament. The finish also earned him A-R-C Rookie of the Year Honors. Schults finished the tournament in a tie for 27^th place after his third-round score of 84 (+13). Link and Coohey finished T35 and 37^th place, respectively, and Hertig placed 41^st after his +15 round of 86 on day three.
