WAVERLY, Iowa — The Loras College men's golf team competed at the Wartburg Fall Invite on Saturday, firing a team score of 295 (+7) to finish in a tie for fourth place at Prairie Links Golf Course.

Connor Walsh led the way for Loras, carding an even-par 72 to finish tied for 13th individually.

Alex LaShelle and Jack Dahlem followed closely behind Walsh, each turning in rounds of 74 (+2) to finish tied for 27th. Silas Schultz provided the final counting score for the Duhawks with a three-over-par 75, placing him tied for 35th.

Nicholas Sullivan rounded out the Loras lineup with a 76 (+4), while Wyatt Herting also posted a strong opening round with a two-over-par 74.

Competing as individuals, Cole Vetter finished the day with an 80 (+8), while Will Coohey carded an 81 (+9).

The second round was canceled due to weather, with first round score counting as final scores.

Up Next: Loras will compete in the Central Fall Classic on Oct. 5 and 6 at Bos Landen Golf Course.
