ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Select members of the men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier on Wednesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 14, at the Austin E. Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex.

DreAnthony Jackson placed second in the shot put with a throw of 17.83 meters, recording a mark that ranks 10th nationally in Division III.

The men's 4x400-meter relay team of Ian Fagan, Casey Tath, Owen Leitzen, and Zeke Irving posted a season-best time of 3:13.39 to finish fourth and move to No. 21 in Division III.

Caitlyn Cox and Carter Allen each claimed event titles. Cox won the hammer throw with a toss of 56.14 meters and added a fourth-place finish in the shot put at 13.34 meters. Allen captured the discus title with a throw of 52.81 meters.

Eli Pflipsen recorded a season-best mark of 48.09 meters in the discus to place sixth overall.

Up Next: Select Duhawks will travel to La Crosse, Wis. for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Thursday, May 21, through Saturday, May 23, at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
