CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Two members of the Loras College soccer program are earning their first career American Rivers Conference Athlete of the Week award, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

From the men's team, Jonathan Ademi is earning Offensive Athlete of the Week after helping Loras to a 2-0 week, including wins over the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Beloit College.

The freshman from Itasca, Ill. netted two goals on the week, finishing with four shots and four points.

On the women's side, freshman goalkeeper Kelly Nelson is earning her first Athlete of the Week honor after securing a shutout in her first collegiate start.

The Lake Zurich, Ill. native turned away six shots to help the Duhawks secure a 2-0 win over the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
