Senior Therese Schultz and the women's volleyball team opened the 2016 slate at the Northwestern Labor Day Tournament, going 2–2 on the weekend. In the first match of her senior season, Schultz went off for a career-high 21 kills, hitting .462 in Loras five-set win over UW-Stout. The Lincoln-Way West graduate finished the weekend with 44 kills and a .254 attack percentage.
