Zach Frey won the 800m and became the top runner in Division III while junior
Elizabeth Brandenburg won the Pole Vault and set not only a new Loras record but also a stadium record in the process.

LORAS HIGHLIGHTS
- Despite Frey not running a PR on Saturday, the senior still managed to best the rest of the field and turn in the top time in Division III at 1:50.89. Frey, who is a three-time national qualifier, put himself in great position to end his career at the national meet, which will be held this year at Wartburg College.
- Senior Jake Brock claimed a pair of top-five finishes, first in the 400m Hurdles with his time of 55.43, which was a PR. His second placement came in the Javelin where he turned in a fourth-place finish with a distance of 54.93m.
- Sophomore Justin Adams finished fourth in the 5k with his time of 15:53.45.
- Senior Keontae Neely set a PR in the High Jump on Saturday, finishing fifth with a height of 1.89m.
- Loras' 4x400 Relay team took fourth at the meet with the team of seniors Stedman Foster and Jake Brock, along with junior Brandon Gradoville, sophomore Kyllian Lally. Their time was 3:18.12.
- As a group, the women's team posted eight top-five finishes, led by a first-place finish by Brandenburg in the Pole Vault. For the second time in three weeks, Brandenburg broke the existing Loras record and now ranks second in Division III. Her mark of 3.89m set a stadium record at UW-Platteville.
- Senior Bree Powers continued her tear through the competition with four top-five finishes. In the 100, Powers placed third with her time of 12.47. She then followed this effort with a fourth-place finish in the 200 at 25.19, a personal best for Powers.
- Later, in the relays, Powers was a member of the fifth place 4x100 team and the winning 4x400 team.
- Joining Powers on the 4x100 Relay were juniors Rachel Kilburg, Alexis Hanson and Alyssa Simon. Their time of 48.71 ranks 24th in Division III.
- The 4x400 Relay team included Hanson, Kilburg, Powers and freshman Allie Serres. Their time of 3:53.90 was good for first place on Saturday and ranks ninth in Division III.
- Hanson added a fourth-place finish in the 400 with her time of 58.52.
- Freshman Audrey Miller once again solidified her mark in her first year as a Duhawk, breaking the Loras all-time record in the 5k. Previously owned by Jenny Richey, who ran the 5k in 17:35.87 at the 1999 NCAA Championships, Miller shaved over eight seconds off the record, finishing fourth in 17:27.18.
- Junior Audrey Hooks' time of 14.60 in the 100m Hurdles was best in preliminaries, but she was edged for first in the finals, finishing with her time of 14.95.
- In the steeplechase, juniors Emily Day and Kelly Minear finished third and fourth, respectively, and both set PR's in the process. Day's third place finish came with a time of 12:01.75 while Minear crossed the line right after her, finishing in 12:17.83.
- Day now ranks fourth all-time at Loras in the 3000m Steeplechase.

Loras will remain in Dubuque County for its next event, competing at the Spartan Invite on the campus of the University of Dubuque on Saturday, April 23. Looking ahead, the Duhawks will learn on Tuesday, April 19 of those selected to compete at the prestigious Drake Relays the weekend of April 27–30, 2016 in Des Moines, Iowa.
