Women's Track & Field | May 19, 2017
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (Duhawks.com) - In split squad action on Thursday night, the distance runners for Loras track and field competed on the campus of UW-La Crosse while the sprinters headed to Augustana. The men's 4x400 was the lone qualifier on the night and now sit at 11th nationally.

UW-LA CROSSE LAST CHANCE
- In the men's 5,000 meter, juniors Mason Tope and Timothy Sevcik finished fifth and sixth, respectively, with Tope turning in a time of 15:07.28 and Sevcik a time of 15:20.50.
- Senior Nate Kimbrell finished 20th in the men's 800 meter at 2:00.07.
- In the men's 1500 meter, senior Brien Nugent finished 18th with a time of 4:09.67.
- Senior Emily Day collected a fourth place finish in the women's 3,000 meter steeplechase, running 11:21.68.
AUGUSTANA LAST CHANCE
- Junior Gerrand Moody took home top honors in the men's 110 meter hurdles, running 15.08.
- The men's 4x100 relay team of freshmen Jacob Beaton, Tyson Morrison and Patrick Mikel along with senior Brandon Gradoville ran 41.93, taking third.
- Later in the men's 4x400 relay with the team of Gradoville,, Mikel, freshman Shamari Scott and junior Kylian Lally, the Duhawks ran a season-best 3:13.97, moving into 11th nationally, securing their trip to Ohio.
- Senior Devan Kennedy took second in the men's pole vault with his height of 4.63m. In the men's discus, Kennedy took 10th at 42.03m.
- Freshman Gabrielle Noland ran 25.36 in the women's 200 meter for a sixth place finish.
- Senior Audrey Hooks dropped down to 14.78 in the women's 100 meter hurdles, taking second in the field.
- In the women's 400 meter hurdles, it was junior Rachel Kilburg who finished fifth with her time of 1:05.92.
- The women's 4x100 relay team consisting of freshman Alexis Alt, junior Alyssa Simon, sophomore Bella Solis and Noland won their heat with a time of 47.78.
- Loras' 4x400 relay team of Alt, Simon, sophomore Allie Serres and senior Alexis Hanson took second with their time of 3:51.62.

Loras awaits the official word from the NCAA as to who will be traveling to Geneva, Ohio for the 2017 Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
