Box Score 2 WATERTOWN, Wis. (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's volleyball team closed out its weekend road trip on a high note, collecting a pair of three-set sweeps against Viterbo and Marantha Baptist.
Mihajlo Gomez was the spark that the Duhawks needed, finishing the afternoon with a team-best nine service aces.

VITERBO
• Loras went up early on Viterbo at 9-4 but the V-Hawks responded with an 8-2 run to go up 12-11

Andres Martinez slammed home the
Alfredo Lopez feed to give Loras a two point lead that was just enough to stave off Viterbo

• Gomez wasted no time getting the Duhawks going with a pair of service aces to open the match

Leo Peters sent home back-to-back service aces to bump the Loras lead up to 7-2 before the Duhawks took things home with the 25-13 first set victory

Austin Kuchenbecker made his presence known in the second set with a first point hammer
• Walsh had kill then a service ace at 7-5
