DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's volleyball team swept Trine on Friday, April 5. The Duhawks were led by Grant Ooms who totaled 16 kills on the night, followed by Mihajlo gomez who tallied 10 of his own. 

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
• The Duhawks started the first set with a 3-0 run and pushed their lead to 7-1 before the Thunder scored another point. Loras went on to claim the first set 25-18. 
• In the second set Gomez back to back kills to put Loras up 19-14. Trine battled back to fall by just three points. 
• Loras looked to close out the series when they jumped out to a 8-3 lead thanks to a service ace from Ian Walsh. Walsh closed out the third set with a kill to finish 25-21.
