Sept. 27, 2022 – After a one-week hiatus, the Loras College women's soccer team is once again ranked in the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Top 25, slotting in at No. 24 in Tuesday's release.

The Duhawks (6-0-2) were not featured in the Top 25 of last week's poll but were still on the national radar as they received votes in the Sept. 20 edition of the poll. Loras is back in the rankings this week after a 2-0 week that featured a pair of dominating wins over Lawrence University and Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Loras took down Lawrence on the road last Tuesday by a 4-0 margin, then returned home on Saturday to beat NWU 6-0 in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) opener. Senior forward Ryleigh O'Brien led the way with 11 total points (4g, 3a) in those two games to earn her the conference's Offensive Player of the Week honor.

In addition to the USC poll, the Duhawks are also ranked No. 16 in the latest D3soccer.com Top 25, down one spot from No. 15 last week.

No. 24/16 Loras is in action tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 28 when it hosts the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at 5 P.M.
