Daniel Rogers and
Max McCallum were both named as American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Region players in the organization's official release on Tuesday morning.
Rogers, a junior outfielder/catcher, was named to the NCAA Division III Region 9 All-Region First Team while McCallum, the Duhawks' sophomore centerfielder, earned a spot on the Third Team list. It's the first ABCA All-Region honor for both players despite Rogers being an All-Region selection last season for D3baseball.com.
The Grayslake, Ill. native Rogers was among the best bats in the league and in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) this season. After two games in the NCAA Division III National Tournament, the Second Team All-Conference selection finished the year with a .388 batting average, 10 home runs, 40 RBIs, and a new single-season program record 21 doubles.
McCallum earned First Team All-Conference honors this season as one of the most consistent presences in the Loras lineup. The leadoff man from Aurora, Ill. finished the season with 69 hits, a new single-season program record, while also leading the team with 52 runs and 18 stolen bases. He accounted for 104 total bases and added 32 RBIs to his final 2023 stat line.
