CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Duhawks snagged four spots on the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) All-Conference teams for the second year in a row, with one First Team honoree, two Second Team, and an Honorable Mention as released by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Vince Polizzi is the lone First Team representative for the Purple and Gold. The senior put up video game numbers during the 2026 season, with a conference slash line of .435/.479/.796 to go along with nine homers and 40 RBI, both league bests. The Naperville, Ill. native managed 70 hits, 18 doubles, and 12 home runs over his 40 starts, with his hits and home run totals both ranking second in a single season in school history. On the same note, Polizzi was responsible for 63 RBI, which was tied for the most ever in program history for a single season. His time in the Purple and Gold rounds out with 134 RBI, 37 doubles, and 27 home runs, which are all top five career totals, and three All-Conference selections.

Jackson Cullen is one of the two Second Team selections for the Duhawks this season, and it marked his third All-Conference honor. The Joliet, Ill. native held a team best .495 on-base percentage in conference play, which was the fourth best mark in the A-R-C, and hit .360 over 20 starts. The senior had his best series of the conference season against the University of Dubuque, as Cullen went 4-for-11 with eight runs scored and three RBI. In all, he finishes his career with a .333/.429/.488 slash line and 110 runs scored, which ranks top ten in program history.

Colin Kissane slugged his way to his first All-Conference selection, as the junior notched Second Team honors for the Purple and Gold. Kissane began conference play with a 6-for-13 effort against Central College, in which he crushed four long balls, scored four runs, and plated 10 RBI. He then followed that with a 9-for-16 series against Buena Vista University, where he collected seven RBI, and added two more bombs. Kissane once again placed his name in the record books, as he pounded 12 home runs, which was tied with his running mate Polizzi for second most in a single season in school history. In total, the Orland Park, Ill. native ranked top five in homers and RBI versus conference competition and had a .305 batting average.

Ben Shea earned an Honorable Mention nod in his redshirt freshman season. Shea, who stepped into a starting role in 2026, possessed a conference .298/.337/.447 slash and added five doubles and three bombs. The New Lenox, Ill. native had a pair of memorable series versus the University of Dubuque and Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he went a combined 13-for-27 with 10 RBI. Against the Spartans in game three, Shea went 4-for-6 which set his career high for hits in a single game, helping fuel the Duhawks magical comeback. With the glove, he had a .965 fielding percentage and turned 13 double plays, which aided Loras to their 19 in conference play, a mark that was tied for the best in the A-R-C.

Loras finished with a 19-21 record for the second year in a row, but went 12-12 in conference play and entered the conference tournament as a six seed. The Duhawks went 1-2 in the tournament, bowing out after a loss to Luther College at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Kissane and Shea will reprise their roles next season, with Cullen and Polizzi both graduating for the Purple and Gold.
