Junior infielder Colin Kissane earned his first career D3baseball.com First Team All-Region IX honor following a breakout season for the Purple and Gold. The Orland Park, Ill. native also picked up his first American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) All-Conference selection this spring after being named to the Second Team.
Kissane finished the year batting .365 with 58 hits, 47 RBI, a .679 slugging percentage, and a .461 on-base percentage. He established himself as one of the conference's top power hitters, launching 12 home runs, tied for the second-most in a single season in program history alongside teammate Vince Polizzi. During conference play, Kissane ranked among the league leaders in both home runs and RBI while batting .305 against A-R-C opponents.
The Duhawks concluded the season with a 19-21 overall record and a 12-12 mark in conference play.
