DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College men's tennis team swept Simpson College, 7-0, on Senior Day.

The Duhawks dominated doubles play, winning all three matches. Henry Condo and Horia Popa struck first with a 6-1 victory over Seth Orta and Darek Kayser at No. 3 doubles. Lucas Healy and Sean Sonoiki followed with a 6-3 win over Drake Downard and Blane Wallace at No. 2, and Diego Mejias and Gage Becker closed out the sweep with a 6-4 victory against Javier Robles Solis and Grant Love at No. 1.

Holding a 1-0 advantage, Loras carried its momentum into singles play. Popa quickly dispatched Kayser 6-0 at No. 5 singles, and Healy secured a 6-1, 6-3 win over Downard at No. 3. Becker defeated Love 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2, while Condo topped Orta 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4. Mejias earned a 7-5, 6-3 win over Robles Solis at No. 1, and Jackson Craig completed the sweep with a 6-1 victory over Wallace at No. 6.
