WAVERLY, Iowa - The Loras College men's tennis team fell to Wartburg College, 4-3, Tuesday night at Meirink Family Tennis Facility.

Loras got off to a hot start, winning two of the three doubles matches. The duo of Dali Martens and Jaimes Palmer took down Milan Lecic and Landon Murch 6-2 at No. 2. Abhyudit Nagar and Samuel Canas Guerrero secured the point at No. 3 with a 6-3 victory.

Wartburg rallied in singles play, grabbing wins at the No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 spots.

Nagar was able to get a win at No. 5, taking down Benny Ramker 6-4, 6-4. Horia Popa took down Murch at No. 6 6-1, 5-7, 1-0 for the final Duhawk point.

Up Next: Loras will return to the court on April 10th to take on Nebraska Wesleyan University. First serve from the Tucker Tennis Courts is scheduled for 4 PM.
