CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – After a 3-0 week on the pitch, Gracie Gasmann and Bella Scesniak have earned American Rivers Conference Athlete of the Week honors, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

Gasmann turned in an impressive week on offense, netting four goals to go along with two assists in three games. The McHenry, Ill. native recorded 11 shots, with seven being on goal and finished with nine points for the Duhawks to earn Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Scesniak is earning Defensive Player of the Week, following a solid showing herself during the 3-0 week. She recorded three assists in the win over the University of Concordia – Wisconsin, before netting a goal and tallying another assist against St. Scholastica. The Hoffman Estates, Ill. native held opponents to just six shots combined on the week.
