DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's tennis team improved to 2-0 in 2016-17 with a convincing 8-1 win against Knox on Saturday at the Dubuque Country Club. Led by senior captain
Jason Derby, the Duhawks swept all three doubles matches on the way to their second consecutive win.
In singles action, all of Loras' wins came in straight sets, highlighted by sophomore
Sean Baldwin's victory at the No. 4 position.
At No. 1 doubles, the tandem of Derby and sophomore
Kevin Murphy showed little signs of struggle, winning 8-4.
