Jason Derby collected his 15th consecutive win and improved to 16-2 this season, winning both of his matches at No. 1 singles and added a pair of wins along with junior
Kevin Murphy at No. 1 doubles.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomore Sean Baldwin ran his winning streak to nine with wins at No. 3 singles against Central's Tom Palmer (7-5, 7-5) and Simpson's Brett Dewerff (6-0, 6-0).
- At No. 3 singles, sophomore Riley Michel improved to 13-5 this season and 7-3 in his last 10, bouncing back from a loss against Central's Sam Dykstra (4-6, 7-5, 10-4) to defeat Simpson's Geoff Converse (6-2, 6-2).
- Derby and Murphy ran their doubles' winning streak to seven and improved to 13-5 this season overall and 4-2 in the Iowa Conference.
- The tandem of Michel and Baldwin earned their 11th win this season, winning at No. 2 doubles against Simpson's Zach Nelson and Dewerff, 8-3.
- Against the Storm, Loras completed the sweep in doubles action with a win by sophomores Eric Zirzow and Joe Janouch, 8-4.
