DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's tennis team concluded the regular season on Tuesday, falling to Luther, 9-0. With the loss, the Duhawks finish with a 13-6 overall record.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Sophomores Sean Baldwin and Riley Michel dropped their decision at No. 2 doubles, 8-3.
- Senior Jason Derby had his 15-match winning streak snapped, falling at No. 1, 6-3, 6-0 to Luther's Kyle Appel.
- At No. 4 singles, sophomore Sean Baldwin dropped to 15-4 this season after a 6-3, 6-0 loss.
UP NEXT
With the regular season complete for the Duhawks, they await the result of Luther's match against Dubuque. A win by the Norse, Loras qualifies for the postseason as the No. 6 seed. The IIAC Tournament is scheduled for May 5-6 in Cedar Rapids.
