DUBUQUE, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's tennis team fell to 10-4 (1-3 IIAC) on the season Saturday with an Iowa Conference loss against Nebraska Wesleyan.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Senior Jason Derby and junior Kevin Murphy won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles. Derby and Murphy are now 11-3 while teamed together at doubles.
- In singles play, Derby won at the No. 1 spot over Pedro Bethlem, 6-1, 6-1.
- Murphy joined Derby in the winning, outlasting NWU's Adam Olson, 7-5, 6-7 (6-8), 7-5.
- At No 4. singles, sophomore Sean Baldwin also earned a win for the Duhawks with scores of 6-2, 6-4. Baldwin's win marked the 11th of the season for the Davenport native.

Loras hits the road for it's spring break trip and faces Brewton-Parker on Monday. First serve from Macon, Ga. is scheduled for 11 a.m.
