Men’s Tennis Falls to Central in IIAC Tournament

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Duhawks.com) - The Loras men's tennis team stumbled in the first round of the 2017 Iowa Conference Tournament on Friday, falling to Central, 5-3.

HIGHLIGHTS

The Duhawks came out and took a commanding 3-0 lead after sweeping doubles.
At No. 1 doubles, senior Jason Derby and junior Kevin Murphy grabbed the win, 8-2.
The sophomore tandem of Sean Baldwin and Riley Michel took a 2-0 lead after winning 8-4.
Sophomores Eric Zirzow and Joe Janouch completed the sweep for Loras, winning 8-5 at No. 3.
