NOTABLES - IOWA
- The Hawkeyes won the B1G Ten Conference Tournament last year with wins over Maryland, Nebraska, Minnesota and Northwestern
- Iowa enters Wednesday with an 11-6 record after sweeping Evansville in a three-game series
- Last season, the Hawkeyes defeated the Duhawks at Banks Field, 8-1
- Robert Neustrom holds a .359 batting average with 23 hits and three homeruns 

LAST TIME OUT - IOWA
- Iowa finished their sweep over Evansville with a 4-3 win on Sunday
- Kyle Crowl hit his third homerun of the season to tie the game in the second inning
- Zach Daniels took his record to 2-1 as the Hawkeyes rallied late to score one run in the seventh inning and two runs in the eighth to take the lead
- Daniels gave up one run in the top of the ninth before he was relieved by Grant Leonard who recorded his first save of the season
- Hawkeye Head Coach Rick Heller is expected to start Grant Judkins on Wednesday … Judkins has one appearance this season, coming against Ball State where he threw 2.0 innings of relief and struck out two

- Former Loras assistant coach, Nathan Roling, makes his return to Petrakis Park to face the Duhawks in his second season as head coach at Simpson
- The Storm finished last season with a record of 7-29 (4-20 IIAC), and come into the weekend with a 1-10 record
- Last season, the Duhawks took two of the three games from the Storm 
- Hunter Hillygus leads Simpson with a .400 batting average with 14 hits including one triple

LAST TIME OUT - SIMPSON
- The Storm lost on the road to Monmouth 9-5 in game one and 14-6 in game two
- Nathan Carlin went 2-for-4 with a homerun in game one
- Hillygus went 4-for-5 with one run scored in game two
- Trey Kehoe took is record to 0-2 on the season with the loss in game one and J Lowery received his first loss of the year in game two

NOTABLES - LORAS
- The Duhawks start the year 10-3 after posting wins over Trine and DePauw during their trip to Inidiana
- Danny Weis enters Wednesday with a .457 batting average with six doubles, and triple, and one homerun
- Starters Brad Schwind, Nick Spiess and Robert Hovey enter the weekend with a combined 8-1 record

LAST TIME OUT - LORAS
- The Duhawks defeated Depauw on the road, 13-6, on Sunday afternoon
- Weis and Jake Oglesby hit their first homeruns of the season 
- Thomas Greffly went 2-for-4 with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored
- Taking his record to 4-0, Schwind threw six innings of one-hit baseball with one walk while adding eight strikouts … Schwind has 32 strikeouts on the season
