ALL TIME VERSUS MSOE
Loras is 0-3 all-time against the Milwaukee School of Engineering with all three meetings coming during Loras' inaugural season.

LAST TIME VERSUS MSOE
In the Duhawks' last meeting with MSOE, they dropped a straight set decision to the Raiders in Milwaukee, Wis. The efficiency of the Raider offense, which hit .528 as a team, was the undoing for the Duhawks in this match. Leaders on the offensive end for Loras were Dylan Ross, who totaled eight kills, and the setting duo of Shayne Marquez and Danny Krasich whom combined for 20 assists.

SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
MSOE comes into their meeting with Loras sporting an 8-4 overall record and unblemished 5-0 mark in the MCVL. After forfeiting three games early on in the season, the Raiders have gone 8-1 with their only loss in that span coming to No. 6 UC Santa Cruz. Standout performers for the Raiders this season have been Neil Naughton and Quin Krisik, who rank among the conference leaders in their major positional categories. Naughton leads the MCVL in hitting percentage, posting a .432 clip out of the middle, with many of his kills coming from Krisik, who ranks second in the conference in assists per set with 10.78.

DUHAWKS FACE SIX CONSECUTIVE HOME MATCHES
Following four consecutive conference matches on the road, Loras heads home for an extended stay. Opening with a Friday matchup against No. 14 MSOE, the Duhawks play six straight at home. Loras currently holds a home record of 3-2 heading into their homestand, which bodes well for this stretch of conference matches. In those home wins Loras hit .246, .293 and .382 respectively.

ALFREDO SERVING UP ACES
Freshman Alfredo Lopez has greatly contributed to Loras' 6-7 start in his debut season as a Duhawk. The Naranjito, Puerto Rico native is leading Loras in service aces, with an average of 0.53 service aces per set, which ranks fourth in the MCVL. In addition to his aggressive serving, Lopez has recorded 46 kills thus far, averaging 1.44 kills per set.

COMBS BLOCKING AT AN ELITE LEVEL
Loras ranks fourth in the MCVL in blocks on the season with 102 team blocks. The Duhawks are getting contributions from a variety of players in the blocking category, but none more than sophomore Jimmy Combs. The Penfield, N.Y. native is leading Loras in blocking with 43 total blocks on the season. In his freshman campaign, Combs totaled 64 blocks in 23 matches. With exactly half of the regular season left, Combs is well on pace to exceed last season's total in blocks.

GALVAN LEARNING ON THE FLY
Freshman Ryan Galvan has quickly transitioned into becoming a reliable option for head coach Jeremy Thornburg. Heading into Friday night's conference matchup against MSOE, Galvan has started in 9 out of 13 matches and has totaled 86 kills, which ranks third for the Duhawks. His average of 2.05 kills/set trails only fellow freshman Greg Kinney for the team lead.
